Community Events and Engagement Coordinator
Join our passionate team and assist us to restore our moana! Through this role you will coordinate community events, support volunteers & promote marine conservation.
20-30 hrs per week, $30-35 per hr, 12-month contract.
About the role.
The Community Events and Engagement Coordinator will assist with the planning and delivery of the restoration and education program and oversee volunteer activation and engagement. This is a busy and dynamic contracting role that requires excellent communication and organisation skills, a high attention to detail, the ability to work flexibly around the program’s event dates (including weekend and evening work) and a passion for supporting a diverse range of community volunteers and project contributors.
Hours will be between 20 -30hrs per week and will include a mixture of remote and onsite delivery. The successful candidate will need to provide invoices, be comfortable working remotely and on site (under the direction of our Community Project Coordinator), and will be able to provide their own computer, phone and transport.
